1. Information We Collect
QuickyDesk is designed to collect as little information as possible.
Files you upload: When you use a PDF tool, you upload files to our server. These are temporarily stored only for as long as needed to perform the requested operation. We do not read, analyse, index, or retain the content of your files beyond what is technically necessary to process them.
Contact form submissions: If you use our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, and message. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
Server logs: Like any web server, ours automatically records your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging, and are not linked to personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Your Uploaded Files
Your uploaded files are used for one purpose only: to perform the PDF operation you requested. The file is processed, the result is made available to download, and then both the original and processed files are scheduled for automatic deletion.
We do not:
- Read or scan the content of your documents.
- Use your files to train machine learning models.
- Share your files with third parties.
- Store your files permanently.
- Back up your files in any long-term storage system.
3. File Storage and Automatic Deletion
All uploaded and processed files are stored temporarily on our server. They are automatically and permanently deleted within 15 minutes of being created, regardless of whether you downloaded the result.
This deletion is handled by an automated background process that runs continuously. You do not need to manually delete your files, and there is no option to "save" files to your account — we do not have user accounts.
5. Advertising (Google AdSense)
QuickyDesk uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google may use cookies to show personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out at Google's Ad Settings.
6. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information or file data to any third party. We may share information only:
- Legal compliance: If required by law or court order.
- Service providers: Hosting providers who have access to server infrastructure, bound by confidentiality agreements.
7. Security
We use HTTPS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Our servers are secured and regularly maintained. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. For highly sensitive documents, we recommend processing them locally using desktop software.
8. Children's Privacy
QuickyDesk is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because we do not require accounts and delete files automatically, in most cases there is no personal data to access or correct. For any enquiries, please contact us.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of QuickyDesk after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
